Cancellation applies to one specific document. If an order carries several documents, cancelling one leaves the others untouched. After cancelling a receipt or invoice, a download link for the new credit document appears on the order.
Retrying a cancellation (a double-click, a slow connection) never issues a second credit note — the app rejects it if the document is already cancelled.
